A bear has recently been sighted in our area. Please use extra caution when outdoors, especially when walking pets.
Residents are also asked to ensure that all garbage is stored in bear-resistant bins and that other potential attractants are properly secured. Fish and Wildlife may not attempt to relocate the bear unless it is determined to pose a significant danger to people or property.
By reducing attractants, we can help keep both residents and wildlife safe.
